Workshop Wednesday

This weeks prompts were tough. I went with
1 Write a haiku about what you see out the window.

Here it is

Palm trees and sunshine

No snow, mittens, hats, or scarves

Florida Winter

And, here is proof of what I see. I think I deserve extra credit for that!

I TOTALLY forgot you'd changed your URL. I know I wrote it down on one the million scraps of paper i'm always surrounded by! I wondered why you hadn't written anything lately (wasn't showing up in my reader!).

I like my snow. But looks like you've got a pretty sweet set up going there too! ;) Loved the haiku!

Ah yes, extra credit for pictures. I keep counting the syllables in everyone's Haiku.

A Florida winter sounds very nice to me!! Mind you, as much as I complain about the wind and the rain and the cold, I actually think that I'd miss the seasons!

No extra points for the picture - A haiku should only have 15 syllables. A picture = 1000 words and probably 2-3 thousand syllables. Way over the top!

Nice haiku though.

If your goal with this assignment was to make us all insanely jealous, than it worked! Love it.
